Original Silver Bullet and subohm vaping?

Hey guys, have a Silver Bullet (my first mod!) sitting here being unused, but I am looking to get into subohm vaping.

My question is, can the original Silver Bullet internals reliably handle the power/heat being generated? My understanding is they came out with a Silver Bullet M which is a 100% mechanical mod specific for the big wattage guys. Battery would be a VTC4.

I figure my DNA30 clones would be a better place to start, but just checking.

I tried .9 ohm on my 3 year old silver bullet seem fine, I mean I don't feel any heat on the body itself. That's the lowest I go not sure about lower than that, maybe someone out there vape much lower.

No, the Silver bullet was never designed with subohm vaping in mind, it uses a collapsing hot spring under the battery as a safety feature, I've read reports of that spring weakening and collapsing with subohm use.
