I dry them pretty easily, just hold them up with chopsticks and blow my hair dryer on them, drys in under a minute. This is for the glass pipettes. I just wash them like I do everything else. Almost boiling but not quite, distilled water pressure-pushed
through the tube. Its handy I have a pressure valve on my water dispenser and the water is distilled (positives and negatives of living in a country without potable water).
Its true though, when I work with VG some does stick to the sides and requires extra pumps. PG is no problem though.
My biggest issue with using pipettes is breakage. The pipes are not cheap where I am, and while they can survive a short drop (eg I am sitting and DIYing), a longer drop breaks them (eg I am standing).
