I am so very Proud of "my Boys"!

Each and Every Scout today Tried His Best to Excel!

We started the day off with a Flag Ceremony. After that the Leaders had to go to the front of the group and present the 2 Top Shooters of the First day with their photos I had printed out. They had to stand in front of the whole group while I told everyone how great they had done and how Very Proud I was of them.

The looks on their faces meant the world to me and it set the tone of the rest of the day!

My heart is so full of joy right now that it will not let my mind unwind so I can go to bed!
I plan on doing the same thing tomorrow!

Sadly, tomorrow is the last day I will be teaching the boys, but I plan on driving out the next day to present the Top Shooters with their photos.

The price of the gas out there to do that is money well spent just seeing their faces.
If I can just make a tiny mark on their lives and nudge them to being Upstanding Pillars of their Communities instead of Drug Addicts I feel my time is well spent!
