Nice camera. Just picked up a EOS rebel t2i for starters...

Edit:

Gpr do you add the photographer and copyright info after or is the camera adding that?

Chesterwiz,
You bought a Sweet little Camera! It should serve you for a Great Many Years to come!

I add it in the camera And in my photo editing software. The camera puts the credit embedded into the Exposure Information of the photo. Then the editing software puts it into the photo. The reason I do this is because I have had photos stolen and made into Commercial Greeting cards. :( Now if they steal a photo I can SUE them for Copyright Infringement!

I agree you should get credit. I think any photos taken with these good DSLRs should be marked up so they are not used elsewhere. I was not sure if the camera auto did it for you or not. I see in adobe bridge you can edit all of that meta data......learned something new.... I didnt know the meta data had all of the info you posted about f stop and shutter speed etc...thanks!

Chesterwiz,
drop me a PM with your email address. I'll send you a bunch of info on adding Metadata Info, Signatures and some cool software links to be able to see the data stored in photos. There is a world of information out there that will show you how to take better and better photos all the time. :) I would be more than happy to help out any way I can. :)

GPR, you live surrounded by such incredible beauty . . . AND you have the eyes and wisdom to SEE it! You must be a happy man, every day . . . :)

Eleanor,
The whole world is full of beauty. It only needs for us to open our eyes to seethe mysteries and beauty it is made of. :) I was trained by 2 World Class Professional Photographers (Mr. Lee Mann (may he rest in peace) and Mr. Matt Brown) and Very Fine Gentlemen. They taught me how to LOOK for the beauty. I also put in 38 years in the Heavy Construction Field, so I had to be Aware of everything around me.
I am also an avid Hunter with over 50 years experience; although through the years I have decided to use a camera instead of a gun or my archery equipment. All of this experience makes for a better and more in tuned with nature photographer.
