My latest wood working project is a Trinket box for my Aunt. I made it out of Ironwood, Walnut and Oak:

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. :)

Very nice GPR! But I gotta wonder what in the world you did that has you making Caribou Sculptures and Trinket Boxes? Did you punch somebody at a wedding, mistake your mother-in-laws clothes hamper as a toilet, expose your brother-in-law as the loud mouth arrogant loser that has been dragging down the family for 30 years or what?

Beautiful as usual. Do you make things to sell? I bet a lot of people would be interested...myself included.

:)

From time to time I do sell some of my wood working projects, and after Christmas I would entertain the idea of selling a few of these little trinket boxes. But, they would be made out of other types of wood because I have used up almost all of my Ironwood (the really dark wood on the bottom) and most of my Oak (the flower on the top of the box). :( I do have some beautiful Western Red Cedar, a small amount of Walnut, some Pine and a little Hemlock. Christmas presents have almost completely decimated my wood reserve.

I am currently building 8 Trinket boxes, 5 of which will go to my Grand Daughters, 1 to my Sister-in-law, 1 to my Son-in-laws Mother and 1 to our Dear Friend Becky (the Lady I tried to get Vapeing). Each box lid will be different and tailored to the person I am giving it to. :) Plus I need to make a Manly box for my Grandson. :) I already made a special one for my wife. :)

So, if you want a Trinket Box, please contact me after Christmas and we'll figure out what woods and top adornment to fit your preference, plus a fair price. :)
