I have very fond memories of driving to Alaska in the 60's with my Dad, and was in awe of those beautiful fish.

I have been thinking of making a box with Salmon jumping on the lid. In fact, I have been considering making one with a big Bear fishing for them. I'm always happy to sell my boxes, unless of course I already have it made as a gift for someone.

It's a Satin finish on this project. Normally I like to use a High Gloss finish, but I ran out, so I used what I had in the cabinet.

Using a light tan wood might definitely make the bear look like a Griz!
