OT: using Tapatalk

So I went to the dark side and bought an evil iPhone, with the Otterbox case it was still $100 less than the ruggedized dumb phoes I've been using. So we are on vacation and limited on luggage and the wife had to bring her laptop for work, yes, she's as bad as me! I figured I'd just use iPhone and travel light.
It's working but I kept hearing how great Tapatalk is, so far I'm not impressed!
The site I've tried it on so far just shows the new posts, no other way to navigate, no way to start a new thread. It's like snippits of the news paper and no way to read the whole thing to me!
So those of you that use it, what am I missing? Is each site set up differently or is that it?
So far I'll take safari over that!

I haven't been able to download the paid version. I get an error message every time. But I didn't buy the darksided evil I-phone, I went Android.

I've used the paid version and still find it to be a PITA. When I use my phone I just prefer to get the regular version of the forum. I have no problem.

hmm i use tapatalk on my 3gs all the time and have never had problems with it.

For me, it depends on what I'm doing. At work I tend to use it because it's quicker, but I miss the full website, so I use that when I have the time.
