I wouldn't soak cigarettes in anything, but nothing wrong with getting a bottle of USP glycerin from Walmart or a drug store for under $5, add a bit of distilled water, shake it up and try it. If you need the tobacco taste, get a tin of skoal or something, but just put it under your lip. I've never done it, but my dad did that when he had to quit smoking and couldn't take it anymore.

I'd vape plain VG (glycerin) and chew nicorette if I was out.

You can, it doesn't have much flavor of course, but you'll feel like you're doing something.

I wouldn't get into soaking snuff bags until you have time (and juice to vape to keep you calm and alert), but get some snuff if it's going to keep you from buying cigarettes and just use it to stop the craving.

Not all USP Glycerin is 100% vegetable. The Humco brand in Walmart (near rubbing alcohol) is all vegetable according to them. In Michael's Craft stores with the cake decorating stuff you can find Wilton's Glycerin. And some health food stores have 100% vegetable glycerin and some have a non-alcohol natural vanilla flavoring which is in VG (not the extract). Some Walmarts (don't know about Michaels) may have some Lorann's Oil professional food flavorings which are one of the brand used for liquid - just avoid ones that are really oils like cinnamon, almond, citrus.

You won't find PG in any of those places. Some people have gotten some at tractor supply and farm supply places (used to prevent some condition in pigs).

Some people soak Snus for nicotine.

I have it for a "case of emergency". Just be aware the ash taste will stay forever in cartomizer.

Plenty of people have used the Humco. And somebody got Humco to confirm theirs is all vegetable.

Also - check here for ecig shops near you
VaporSearchUSA

And check the social groups on the front page of ECF to see if there is one for your area or state - if so, ask to join it and ask in there if anybody near you could loan you some juice.

Also - you could call 7-11's near you and ask if any have ecigs. The 2-piece is an RN4081 and they would have some cartos for it.

LOL, that would keep me from ever smoking again.

I posted the link for the post by the pharmacist because he said that all USP glycerin is made by HUMCO. Some people were buying Vegetable Glycerin at health food stores, but it wasn't USP.

According to many vaping sites and a pharmacist here, Humco produces all of it in the US. I wonder what the differences would be from other countries or the homeopathic (non USP) types?

From Humco's site:

Humco is proud of its long relationship with local pharmacies across America. Our products can be found in almost every community pharmacy across the country. Among our wholesale customers are McKesson Healthcare Solutions, Cardinal Health and AmerisourceBergen along with most regional wholesalers. In addition, Humco supplies products to Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Wal-Mart.
