It's 3:19 right now, and the LED on the end of my shorty KR808D-1 is flashing furiously every time I try in vain to take a drag. I left the charger at home when I came back from lunch an hour and a half ago. It's going to be a long hour and 11 minutes, that's for sure...can't wait for my KGO to show up later this week.

Oh yeah, the KRs will definitely stick around as backups after the KGO kit comes in, but I sure hope I don't have to be in this situation again =/. I didn't have a ton of smoke breaks before I quit, probably only 8 or 9 a day *snicker*, but I've been vaping pretty regularly any time I'm at my desk and on a slow day like today that adds up.

Happeneded to me in the beginning too.

First thing I did was buy a charger for at work. Not just the PCC I was carrying because sometimes I would screw up charging with that (forget to start the charge etc).

Second thing was I bought a second model and started carrying 2 complete charged ecigs with contrasting flavor cartos, and 2 charged spare batteries (one for each), and the PCC for one of the models. I also added at work a charger for the second model. (alternately you could carry 1 or more extra charged batteries for one model)

Third thing I added was a charged 650mah 3.7v battery and I carry that too.

Mine are my backup since I got the KGO, but guess what? Never had to use the backup yet, in 25+ days :) With the KR808s I had to switch them often, make sure they're charged, keep the PCC charged, etc. What a hassle. I forgot all about that :)

I have one USB charging adapter for the 808 threading, no PCC or anything. I've been quite a bit more dedicated to vapor over smoke than my wife has, so I normally drag that charger with me everywhere. There's always at least a computer to stick it in, and if it dies it's just a few minutes to get enough of a charge for a hit or two. So of course when I left it at home for my wife because I knew her battery was probably shorter on charge than mine, mine would go dead on me. I made it though.

I always take back ups for my backups when I'm out. It's rare that I have less than 3 PVs and extra batteries plus juice for all of them when I'm out.

I just keep everything (plus other handy stuff) in my murse when I'm out and about. I look about 17% less badass with it on, but it's nice for carrying all my crap. It's a Maxpedition Fatboy tactical bag.

Dude I feel your pain. Before I had the KGO, all I did was charge the batteries on my Blu. It was the biggest pain in the a*ss. As a matter of fact I had to pull my Blu out today because I ran out of the only E-Juice that I like and I had no choice but to toke on my Blu. The funny thing is I barely touched it. It is so undesirable now after a week of using my KGO. I maybe took 10 toots today, well at least until I got home and received my JC sampler pack! Since then I have been going crazy trying out all these different juices.

Anyhow all I really came on here to say was this is going to be a thing of the past for you, as soon as you get that KGO. This thing will last you all day, without any issues. I am a heavy vapor too, so I can tell you that with confidence. I still carry my second battery with me (only because I got that cool little EGO carrying case) but i havent needed it yet.

Good Luck!

All that expense and hassle. It's so much easier to carry no extra batteries and know you will get 21+ hours on one charge.

Well, let's see... nowadays, I've always got my boxmod in my pocket, along with 2-3 fully charged 650mah batteries & a couple of days of juice. That's bare minimum. The batteries shipping from DX nowadays come in a plastic case that holds 4xAA sized batteries, and I've found that the slots will also hold a spare dual-coil carto and a 3ml bottle of juice.

In the truck, I've got a 2-slot LIon charger for the batteries, at least one more battery, another bottle of juice, and a spare box mod.

Plus a Mistic, just in case. (I think of it as the "hard-tack" or "MRE" of vaping, lol). Always, always, always have much more than you think you'll need, 'cause someday, you'll need it!

Fact: Sooner or later, anything made by man will fail, no exceptions. So, in this case while you are correct and it is much easier, you should also know that there will come a time when that battery will decide to give up its ghost. There is a very good chance it will decide to do this at the worst possible time for your convenience. Good luck with that! :D

Heh,just right now (at work):

2xGG Stealths (1 with UFSv2--filled to the brim with butterscotch and 1 with a long mode odysseus filled to the brim with Irish cream juice)
1xRevolution v2 full with atomic cianide
1xVV box mod with a full extremevizion (toffee) and 2x full bottles (toffee and caramel) to refill it
2xfully charged spare 18350 batts

All in all,4 mods, about 45ml of juice

Call paranoid,I call myself prepared and well equipped

Good rule of thumb: Better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it. (Voice of experience here; I've tried it both ways in many different areas of life, and this is a Universal Truth if ever there was one.) :D

You are correct and I do have backups. It's a must in the vaping world. But I don't need to carry anything extra during the day (other than juice & a backup carto) because of the 21+ hours that my PV holds a consistent charge (no battery drain problems). Plus my PV doubles as a pass-through which makes the need for any extra power non-exsistent. When my PV's battery starts to hold a charge for less time (probably around the 1 - 2 year mark), I will know it is time to get a new battery.

Once you get a model with these characteristics, the days of carrying extra batteries is over.
