Got my starter kit at Lizard juice. Also bought some "Outlaw Tobacco" ejuice there. Went back for more and they only had "Outlaw". I could not tell the difference, so I bought the "Outlaw" - their last three bottles. Got home and noticed that the box and bottles are labeled "Cowboy". I don't care, because I like the juice.

However, having spent $50. for 90 mL of prepared juice, and having a son that is a graduate chemist - working in his field - I think I need to start DIY. He has the technical knowledge and equipment to do this for his dad.

So, I have been reading around this sub forum to learn. I find several DIY flavor suppliers offering "Cowboy". Nothing offering "Outlaw".

Also, I noticed more than one supplier offering DIY flavors of the same name. Are they the same? Similar? Or is it just "pot-luck"?

Can someone tell me where to go?? (Careful, now.)

Ok. Go here and get this: American Red Tobacco Flavor Concentrate (TFA)

But first go here and read the last paragraph in this post, then poke around in that thread a little. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/438100-tfa-american-red-2.html#post10176208

I don't know about the 'outlaw' but I usually associate 'cowboy' with marlboro. Giving that none of our flavors are spot on, something about this flavor does remind me of a marlboro.

As you can see from the thread though, it seems to be a love it or hate it flavor. If you decide to try it, you may want to come back and tell me where to go lol. :vapor:

Try it at 5%, steeped at least a week for starters (I wound up at 7%). If you don't like it, don't throw it away, try it with some other tobaccos first.

JD1 -

Thank you! I think you have me on the right path.

You also saved me a lot of money. I was in the middle of buying my first setup (VG, PG, NIC) stuff when you responded. Checking your link took me to a supplier much closer to home and a whole lot cheaper.

You have exemplified what (I think) this forum is for! Thanks!

Yep, love these forums. Let's hope you enjoy the American Red as much as I do. :vapor:

Edit to add: I think you'll be impressed with Wizard Labs. Every vendor out there should take note on how they package their shipments.

Interesting side note that speaks well for Wizard Labs:

I compiled my order of approximately $53. I called them on the phone (that felt good) and asked about a new customer discount coupon. I was told that there is non - but orders over $65. ship free. My order with me paying freight was right at $62...

I took another hour to spend enough (free money) to get the order over $65!

You really helped me!!
