Hey all,

I did some searching here and I didn't see a thread that specifically tackled this issue. If it's posted somewhere else I apologize for the double post and any helpful person that could link it would be my best friend!

My question!!!

I am the type of guy that is very fastidious when it comes to keeping things well maintained (computers, cars, paintball guns, skis and basically anything else I really enjoy!). I have found a few good ways to clean out my attys and have also found the improved taste and vapor a clean atty can give me.

That being said, currently I'm still amassing my stock pile of spare attys, cartos, tank attys and tank carts so I do not have a lot of spares lying around. Because of that I've been cleaning my attys about once ever 2 - 3 days using various methods for my different attys.

Is this too much? Is there a too much?

Ultimately, I would sacrifice a degree of longevity to get the most consistent and flavorful vape I can attain.

Thanks for the input!

I'm not a big cleaner. So long as mine is functioning properly I see no point in cleaning it, viewing any cleaning operation as a risk of damage. If the atomizer has acquired a disagreeable taste, or the draw is too tight, I will first blow it out (with compressed air). That failing, rinse thoroughly with hot tap water and dry. As a last resort, I have used 99% isopropyl alcohol. Note, I see nothing wrong with using isopropyl ... I'm just not into cleaning atomizers unless needed. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I've read a LOT of threads about cleaning. A lot of people seem to think it is as important as charging their batteries, LOL.

I have not seen any drift indicating frequent cleaning increases atomizer longevity ... in fact, my impression is to the contrary from reading the threads.

My atomizers typically last months, baring accidental damage. Dang it, I broke two of them last week by dropping my PV. But, that's another story.
