I just can't understand how some e-Liquids that are considered good can be around for 2 years. I can't keep a good mix around more than a week right now and I haven't found any store bought brands that do it for me like my DIY's. My DIY are also changing like the date on the calendar!

okay i am wrong. they are not nearly that old lol. i just picked up a juice that was about 8 months old. it was super dark and came light. it did not taste good to me. so i guess it was just that juice. tossed it. i just hate to waste anything.

i wanted to mention many stores do "diy" in their store for you. of course you pay more to have them do it but it is still much less than name brand. i find some stores diy to be very good. i guess someone sells a large kit to these stores. i find the stores that use alcohol base not to my liking. tends to burn at high wattage. i go to a store that uses if i want 100% vg and natural flavor. it is good. however $50 for 200ml but honestly that is not bad. even though you could make it cheaper yourself.

this stuff spoiled though. not sure what was in it or what it even was. label was ruined. unless it was poop flavor lol.

well this is good to know. i can store for much longer than i thought with most juices.

thanks guys.

Over time the nic strength will drop a little bit. As far as I know, the only way to tell when you've reached optimum flavour/steep time, is to try it every day.
Each flavour is different. My vanilla custard used to take a month or more. Capellas VC v2 is good right away. imo.
i agree with this completely, it really depends on whats in it i think. my vanilla custard and banana custard become amazing if i can let it sit for a small amount of time ( usually its gone within the week lol) but other flavors i have made like strawberry watermelon or blueberry are awsome right after i make them...but a month or so later it starts tasting like blended dirt. i think its all in the flavors IMO.

you have a good point there. in fact i really do not know. just having not tried it in 14 months. i remember it was so/so. perhaps you are correct. i just like it better now. of course others do feel that steeping improves flavor. quite frankly i think too long with the wrong juice it is then spoiled. not steeped. anyways the only reason these juices i am using up to save money got steeped in the first place is because i did not care for them. i will say the kitty milk is at least tolerable to me right now. that could indeed be that i did not have the taste on my tongue recently. i will also say these juices i did not like are still not great to me. okay, but not my top juices. even well steeped. i don't know but i will say so much for that. ymmv. maybe if you steep a top juice it does get better but i would never find out since i would consume it the first week i got it. i do not diyy and cannot afford to stockpile much juice. just these were around because i did not care for them. they are still either not great or outright spoiled. some are tolerable now. however you are correct i cannot directly contribute that to steeping. probably more likely i was just not sick of an entire bottle right now. others strongly feel it is a good thing. i really have no opinion at this point.
