Overcharging?

If the charger is in good working order, it doesn't hurt to leave a battery on the charger after it is fully chargered.

BUT. This forum has numerous threads of peoples chargers and or batteries catching fire.

So my advise would be to charge with your charger and battery in a metal or glass pan. And I would never, Never, EVER leave a battery charging when you leave the house or when you go to sleep.

Yes what the above poster said never leave house with a battery charging just good safe practice in my opinion.
Most chargers have a built in circuit to protect against over charging unless it fails reason i like to be at home when there on charge.
Always good to have some spares so one can be at the house.
