I'm a little overwhelmed by all the information and flavours available. I'm living in the UK and got a JAC VAPOUR kit, with 2 batteries and v3 cartomizers. Firstly, do I need to get my cartomizers solely from the people I got my kit with?

Also, I have ordered quite a few tester kits, but since i only have limited cartomizers what would the best method be for tasting them? right now i'm just adding some new flavours and mixing once it tastes like the juice is gone. But this method isn't giving me the True taste... it seems a waste to throw away a cartomizer to test a flavour i may not even like.

I am finding the e cig very nice, however I dont feel i've found a flavour i am comfortable with, for some reason the majority i have tried taste too artificial! And the ones which get good reviews (bobas bounty) arent available in the UK I was wondering what flavours those in the UK use as their main vape? a website would be helpful too. thanks for reading or which are "safe" choices.

I don't know the JAC Vapour model, but know it's easy to get overwhelmed when starting out. Finding the right juice is harder than the right hardware, will take some time. My advice is keep it simple and set up a routine, have some batts that last you long enough, and narrow it down to a couple flavors (some prefer many more). I tried 4 kits and stuck with two, mostly use one, two flavors.

Cartos can be cleaned so you can reuse to try flavors, but I'm no expert with them, some boil them, others soak in alcohol. Search for carto cleaning. There are 3 UK suppliers in the ECF Suppliers Forum, bring up the sortable list and sort by region. Perhaps others can help with that.

Edit: if you have link to JAC, that would help. If that's a generic model, you can get supplies from elsewhere.

Hey Nevolocus, and welcome to ECF!

We've all been in your shoes at one point or another, with so many products and different things, it's very very easy to feel overwhelmed.

I'm not *sure* about this, and I'm sure someone else can answer it, but a quick search popped up with the jac vapour kit using the 901 thread. This means that you can order cartomizers (blank or prefilled) from any vendor you want if they sell them for 901 batteries. (Keep in mind if I'm wrong, and it's say, 808 or 510 connector, you'd just want to buy those instead)

You can also clean cartomizers out by rinsing them under warm water and blowing out through the thread end, repeat this process a few times and give it a bit of time to dry and you can refill it with another flavor and you shouldn't have much, if any, overlap between the flavors. The ability to change flavors in a cartomizer depends heavily on how strong the previous flavor was, there as some that simply refuse to be washed out.

You'll find almost every e-cig flavor tastes pretty artificial. It's because the liquids are flavored with artifical food-grade flavorings. Some are better than others, but a majority taste pretty fake.

After you get a few more posts you can head on over to the UK forum here and ask about there, or hopefully another UK vaper will pop in here to give you some tips on UK vendors with good juices.

Also hopefully someone else can pop in and let you know exactly what kind of cartomizers your batteries take.

Good luck, and I hope once you find your groove you'll wind up enjoy vaping as much as the rest of us do!

I can't speak for the UK side, but Liberty Flights is an amazing vendor. They have a US site (liberty-flights.com) and I order a lot of my supplies from them. Great vendor with a lot of really good products, and I'm pretty sure they carry 901 atomizers and cartomizers (I know they definitly carry 510, but I don't think your batteries take the 510s)

Edit: I lied, LF on the UK side only carries 510 and 808 cartomizers. Sorry, but I'm sure someone else can point you to another UK vendor.

Hey Nevolocus

looking around quite a bit and it would seem that the Jac Vapour use a 808 connector and should fit any cartomisers or atomisers that have a 808 or 901 connector.

808 and 901 share the same thread but differ in their air hole configuration and so an 808 battery can use 808 & 901 cartomisers but a 901 battery can only use a 901 cartomiser unless you use an adapter.

The V3 cartomisers that Jac Vapor sell are very good and can be refilled about 40 times (according to forums) and just over £6 for a 5 pack is resonable. similar Boge Cartomizers from Liberty Flights are about the same price.

On the Jac website they have instructional videos on how to fill cartomizers but i would personally add the drops of fluid slower and rotate the cartomizers while you fill (they take 25-30 drops). Liberty Flights or enjuice.com are good places to get e-juice.

As Dirgon said you can soak cartomizers in hot water to clean out the old juice but leave to dry fully before you refill them.

An alternative to the cartomisers you have been using is whats called an Atomisers - LF or Atomisers - Cloud9 grab one of these along with a drip tip and you can drip 3 drops directly down the tip into the atomiser and that should be enough for 20 inhales or untill the taste or vapor changes then repeat with 3 drops more... this way you can change flavours easily. try a google for e-cig dripping

hope this helps
