I almost thought my 510 atty was in need of replacement based on the fact that the stock e juice just provided almost no vapor and no real feeling.

So I got my little sampler from Chi Town Vapers (the only one listing e juice on amazon, and I had a Gift cert). It came in the mail on my birthday, yesterday.

I specifically picked as 50/50 mix in 15mg as I wanted more vapor but still wanted to feel something. I was also sent a sample of 24mg Honey Wood tobacco 50/50. So far the two I've tried have decent, but little flavor (havent steeped, and again in a plain ol 510).

However the throat hit hurts - in both nic levels. OW. I mean, its worse than marlboro menthols full flavor. I feel like I'm breathing in needles. Is this what "throat hit" is supposed to feel like?
It hurts a lot less if I hold it in my mouth before breathing it in. This isnt as satisfying as an analog right now. But the light delicate flavor is way more satisfying.
Is this typical? Next order should I go more VG?

Vapor production is still about the same unless I drip a starter drop right on the atty before replacing cart. Maybe ever so slightly higher.

No, this is NOT what good throat hit feels like. And most vapers inhale into the mouth before inhaling into the lungs.

It sounds like the eliquid you bought has some ingredient in it like pepper, etc that is trying to duplicate throat hit (which isn't possible) by instead causing throat irritation. It's also possible that your atomizer is worn or defective and causing a burning of the eliquid.

15 mg and 24 mg will give you a really hard TH.. but it seems to me that increasing the voltage on the atty gave you a better vape... Weird... I thought higher voltages increased TH... Oh well.. Happy Vaping!

Just a note, besides blowing on the atty (battery connection end) I didn't mess with it(or voltage) at all

I'll try shaking bottles better, although I did shake them. Maybe the pepper idea is the reason

I really like a mini myself....like the ecig to look and feel more like an analog cig

Unless you are a very light vaper, you will get tired of constantly changing batteries and needing to buy more and more of them. Not to mention that they are not powerful enough to use half the new vaping connections now available and the lack of consistency in comparison to better models.
