My first experience in sub ohm vaping was on a Nimbus a few months into building coils... I used a multimeter, and didn't get any strange readings but my centerpost was definitely flamed looking after my coil. My guess is when the top cap went on I must have moved a coil and shorted somewhere because my center post went from silver to copper color.
Ive since rebilt the coils and have had no issues with performance, but I'm wondering if there is a way to clean the oxidation completely off of the center post, and if the intense heat from subohming would have caused this anyway or if it was definitely a matter of a short.
