I have tried some unoxidized setups on my gennies, after watching pBusardo vids before going to bed. I suceeded with the Rsst, and surprisingly, with my little Aga S's. I think
the reason that I succeeded w the little Aga Ss is because the deck is smaller, and so I tend to wrap alittle looser than on the larger attys.
I was able to get the unoxidized wick(pulse) to work on an Aga Hydra, but I ended up w a hot leg later. When trying again w an unoxidized setup on the Hydras, I did nothing but short out on the wick, and drain my battery. My successful setups using this method vape and taste good, but really no better than doing the setup
w an oxidized wick. Pulsing the coil is just another means to the same end, and actually scares me alittle.
Using a preoxidized wick is like doing the Sunday New York Times Crossword in pencil.
Using an unoxidized wick is like doing the puzzle in Sharpie. Methinks I will stick to pre-oxidized mesh.
Peace
