The "Full edition" package shows the name of the manufacturer (OXVA), the name of the product (VATIV Super Mod Kit), the image of the kit and some main features on the front.

On the back of the box they appear; a brief description of the product, the packing list, the warnings, the manufacturer's address, color indications (Medusa & SS), the scratch & check, trademarks and logos required by law.

On the side the box is branded with the name of the designer (Justin Lai) and we are also reminded that the atomizer uses Uniplus coils and that the chipset is equipped with a new VPC mode and can deliver up to 100w.

► OXVA Vativ Super Mod 100W Kit; First impressions:
I received the Medusa & SS version of the Vativ Super Mod Kit for this test and I must say that I was favorably impressed by its gritty and flashy style. The shell is made entirely of metal, the "reptile skin" decorations may seem exaggerated, but to the touch and sight they are really pleasant and of quality. The design of Vativ is flat at the front with an oval profile towards the rear. The Display is a good size with bright fonts and various selectable background colors. The three selection buttons are circular in shape, protruding and easy to operate. Conveniently located and in the lower part of the front area there is the USB type-C socket.

The side panels of Vativ Super Mod host at the top a logo with two "V" intertwined with each other, the logo is circular in shape and with a black background, its profile is in relief with respect to the body of the Mod. The cover of battery with its eye-catching decoration is entirely made of metal, the cover is well integrated into the Vativ Super Mod line with a precise and quality coupling to the frame. The magnetism is strong and the fit is perfect, the polarities are clearly marked inside the compartment / battery. The 18650 cell (not included) inserts and replaces with ease thanks to the wide and soft excursion of the top pin (-). Both positive (+) and negative (-) pins are gold plated for better conductivity.

As a whole, Vativ Mod is slim and slender, the weight of 125g does not affect the excellent portability qualities in the least, on the contrary this contributes to a pleasant overall feeling of extreme robustness.

The Super Mod Vativ Kit goes beyond all the boundaries of Mod and AIO technologies; the 510 connection allows the insertion of any tank or the proprietary cartridge, thanks to a high quality switch that uses a precise and innovative slideway insertion system to transform the Mod into AIO and without generating Power Loss.

► OXVA Vativ Super Mod 100W Kit; 2 in one:
"Full kit" is the name shown on the box and is also the subject of this review, the kit includes the proprietary Unione PnM tank with 510 connection and the Vativ capsule. Probably OXVA will also market the MOD-only version of Vativ.

► Union PnM Tank:

OXVA Unione PnM (Pyrex Tube and Magnetic Connection) is a new generation Subohm tank that combines the performance of a Subohm tank with the same convenience of a pod system, allowing you to change coils in seconds while enjoying the crystal clear flavor that the pyrex glass can guarantee. The 510 type drip tip is replaceable and a practical coin-shaped tool is provided to change the glass. The refill takes place from below through a silicone rubber. The tank in question works very well in RDL / DL thanks to the double opposed AFC of generous dimensions (without rotation stops) and thanks also to the excellent and performing Uniplus Coil supplied. The Puff is smooth and quiet and condensation is minimal. However, in the kit I would have preferred a tank with more compact dimensions, especially in height, I would have seen the Tank MTL Arbiter by OXVA very well on this Mod. Not bad considering that on Vativ Super Mod we can use any 510 tank with a diameter up to 24.5mm without protrusions.

► Vativ 5ml cartridge:
I find this Pod system very interesting which uses a tank made of PCTG and replaceable 510 type drip tip. The pod has an e-liquid capacity of up to 5ml and uses a very comfortable top filling system using the classic silicone rubber pad. The coils are the same Uniplus used in the Unione PnM tank and are quickly inserted / replaced from below. The cartridge is magnetically anchored to the plastic base. The base uses two opposing wheels for air regulation and once the U-shaped metal rail has been removed, it is possible to switch from the Vativ Mod configuration to the Pod configuration without connection loss (Power Loss).

► Uniplus Coil:
These 0.15Ω and 0.3Ω Coils have considerably larger dimensions than the previous Unicoil and often also compared to those used by competitors.

Mesh Coil Uniplus: 0.3Ω (Best 35-40W):
The Chipset in "Smart" mode automatically sets this Coil to 30W and allows you to go up to a maximum of 40W while safeguarding its integrity.
The good reactivity of the Mesh in question allows an optimal vape already starting from 30W with both the PnM and Pod Vativ tank systems. With the AFC setting fully open you get a quiet Puff with a good aromatic release. The steam has a cool temperature, the best setting is with AFC open at 50%.
Going up with the Wattage naturally the performance increases, but the steam never gets hot as long as you don't close the air regulation too much. Liquid consumption, performance and amount of vapor are comparable to those of high performance RDL systems.

Mesh Coil Uniplus: 0.15Ω (Best 70-80W):
The Photon Chip in "Smart" mode automatically sets this Coil to 50W and allows you to go up to the maximum limit of 80W.
Also in this case the good reactivity of the Mesh in question allows an optimal vape already starting from 50W, with the slot completely open you get a silent Puff with a good aromatic release. The vapor is moderately hot with both the PnM and Pod Vativ tank systems. With AFC settings open to 50%, the aromatic yield increases and the steam takes on a warmer tone. Of course, I also tested this Uniplus coil at higher wattages, even pushing it to 80W with AFC completely open on both Tank and Pod systems. At 80W the power supply remains constant, reaching the highest peak of aromaticity with a consistent emission of dense and hot steam. In order not to stress the coil too much and for an "almost" acceptable consumption of the 18650 battery, I found my "best" at 60W with the AFC open at about 90% both in the Unione Tank and in the Vativ Pod.

In conclusion, I find both Uniplus Coils contained in the package to be excellent resistances and if the AFC is not closed too much they will hardly be able to emit steam with temperatures that are too high. These resistances with their large size will certainly be lasting ... Another positive aspect is the almost total absence of condensation, an advantage that already belonged to the excellent Unicoil always by Oxva.

► OXVA Vativ Super Mod 100W Kit; Operation Guide:
• Power On / Off: Five clicks on the Fire button to turn the Mod on / off.
• While the device is on, press the fire button to vape. When the duration of a single puff is longer than 8 seconds, the safety protection interrupts the power supply.
• Puff reset: The number of puffs is counted during the vape. Pressing the Fire buttons and the "-" button simultaneously resets the count.
• Power Adjustment: Press the "+" / "-" buttons to choose your preferred wattage. The adjustment range goes from 5 to 100 watts with 1W steps at a time.
• Vape mode: Press the fire button 3 times in 2 seconds and use the "+ and -" buttons to change mode to; POWER, SMART, VOLT, VPC.
• Colors: Press the fire button and "+" together to change the theme color between; Green, light blue, red, orange, pink, white.
• Smart Mode: The Photon chip with the "Smart" mode automatically sets the suitable power to the coil based on its resistive value to protect it from combustion and incorrect settings
• VPC: Click the fire button to set "P1" by adjusting the desired power% with the "+ and -" buttons. Press the fire button to switch to the setting of (P2, P3, P4, P5). The system will automatically exit VPC setup after 5 seconds if no other operations are performed.
• Press the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously to lock or unlock the adjustment buttons.
• Charging: Connect the charging cable to the Type-C interface to charge with 1A current. When charging is complete, disconnect the power.

► OXVA Vativ Super Mod 100W Kit; Messages on the screen:
• BATTERY LOW: The battery is exhausted
• NO ATOMIZER: The cartridge or tank is not detected
• POWER OFF: The device is turned off
• SHORT: A short circuit has been detected
• TIMEOUT: The continuous vape time is more than 8s
• TEMP HIGH: The PCBA temperature is too high

Final conclusions:
During this review I appreciated OXVA's effort to offer its customers a dual, innovative and high quality entry-level system, both in terms of use with 510 tank and in terms of the Pod configuration with the proprietary Vativ cartridge. The construction level of the Mod Vativ is remarkable both for the good materials used and for the quality of finishes and decorations. The chipset offers VPC mode for users who want to set custom output curves and handles the 18650 battery well especially if we don't exceed 30-40W of power. The DC-DC storage converter with an output voltage higher than the input allows the Step-Up with a semi-discharged battery. The indications and values shown on the beautiful colored display are sufficiently precise and reliable. I use the Vativ Mod regularly during my outings in combination with MTL atomizers, because configured in this way I think it is better and more comfortable to carry than other competing systems. Vativ Super Mod Kit is aesthetically satisfying, I also noticed that it arouses curiosity and interest in people, especially when I alternate the use of the tank on duty with the Vativ cartridge.
