Most of the airport security people are now fully aware of what e-cigs are . Seperate your juice , and take out the batteries . If your even a little nervous about it . Take a self addressed little box or padded envelope (stamped )with you to the airport . If security gives you any trouble , drop in the the mail , back to yourself . And just buy some cheapo when you get to your destination .

Know in the US they would give you a hassle about the juices.... You can't even take a cup of coffee (that you're drinking out of) through security. Not sure how it is on your side of the world.

Also might want to take the instructions or some sort of "this is an electronic cigarette..." literature/business card with you as well. Hopefully it won't even be an issue but now in days better to be prepared. The idea of a self addressed envelope that Renzuli had is a killer idea if you get hassled.

Don't know what the official rules are at airport's, but walked through with a Screwdriver Mk1, 20ml e-juice, charger, batteries and some spare atomizers in a laptop bag (juice was in that sealed bag with the other travel liquids though)

If you get stuck or are fussed about taking juice through I can mail some to a NZ address to tide you over :2cool:

In the US, the standard is the same as for other liquids. No more than 100ml size bottles, all bottles have to fit in a single quart sized ziploc bag. I brought a bunch of stuff out to Hawaii in January, no problems, about 300ml total of eliquid.

Also, at least in the US, batteries actually should be carry-on, not loose in checked baggage. I just put mine in a separate baggie in my carry-on, if asked after it goes into the scanner I can pull it out to show what is in it.
