I used to own a 10440 device and LOVED the size, but sold it because of the lack of protected batteries. Now, I am curious as to if this has change and get another one. It just fits so right with a 306 on top.

Also I see that they are out of stock on the website is there a chance they will come back in stock?

I always thought aw icr10440's were protected but will have to wait for confirmation on that. The imr 10440(the other blue ones that are not aw) are a safer chemistry so traditional protection is not used since they will not vent with flames. Of those two batts the aw actually performs better per Davids tests. That is all I use and have never had a problem, except for when I threw a batt in my pocket with a bunch of change, even then it just melted the casing a bit. I love my p+10, with the new plated contacts, it is a mini powerhouse. Still only get a couple hours out of the batteries though. As for stock, you will have to wait for David on that one. I worry that with all the other projects it may be a while but that is just a guess. I bet you could post a wtb on the classys with success though. Good luck.

I will check the classifieds for a P+10 for sure...

Now with the AW ICR10440 batteries, from your experience are safer so that should cure my first fear. Do you run LR atmoizers with the 10440? I am also curious as to the effect that running LR atomizers may have on the smaller batteries. I know the "vape time" will be drastically shortened per battery; this is no big deal though, as I work in an office so my battery chargers are with my at all times. PLus, if I decided to go out for the night with it I will simply make sure to have enough batteries to last the night (5, maybe 6).

Thanks for the info by the way.

EDIT: I just realized that I am not "verified" and therefore do not have access to the classifieds which I would prefer not to deal with PayPal either way. So I may just wait until I here from David

The P+10440 only accepts the AW ICR 10440 or the IMR 10440. In load tests the AW outperforms the IMR 10440, despite not being an IMR (which is testimony to the quality of AW batteries). The PrecisePlus will not accept the protected trustfire 10440 (too long of a battery) as it is a very poor quality battery and didn't perform well. I have never heard of nor experienced a failure with the AW ICR 10440 battery.

More are expected back in stock near the end of the month.

Thanks David.

I will check back towards the end of the month, and also I think I will grab a few of those AW10440's as well. Any word on whether the LR atomizers would destroy the batteries?

I used to have a P 10 and only used it with low res cartos. I never had any problems with the batteries but did prefer the ICR's. Theu just had a bigger punch (and that was not even a P plus). Great mod.

This. I have a p10 (not a +). I used the IMRs for a while, and then switched to the ICRs. I definitely prefer the ICRs. I always use low res atties on it. either a 510, 306, or hh357.

I know that it is not ideal when it comes to batt life but when vaping at 3.7volts, I always need 1.5ohm atties. I use the hh357 1.5 at all times on my P+10440. I only get an hour to an hour and a half per battery but its worth it to me, because of the small form factor. Sometimes you need something small and I honestly feel that you do not give up that punch when using the p+10440. I am using it right this moment and it blows my mind when using aw10440s and a 1.5 357. Good luck to you. I do believe there are other ways to do confirmation for the classies, you may want to read a bit further and see.
