P+ and Battery Alignment

I think I've been a fool for a while now, but I thought I'd ask the pros here and confirm.

The P+ has been pretty much my first and only big boy mod, and after ripping that package open, I made a couple assumptions. I'm thinking now one of them was wrong. I bought my fiancé a 350 to go with my 500, cause we gotta vape in style. She's been using her batteries the opposite way I've been using mine, and seems to be hitting much harder for it.

I was working under the assumption the + shape in the bottom of the rhodium button meant "the positive end of the battery goes here" and so I've put it in nipple down every time. She's been running hers nipple up. I just switched mine around that way and it seems to be giving me a more meaningful hit, but I just can't tell if this is the placebo effect or if I'm stupid.

So, p+ veterans, what's the right way to put the battery in the precise? Heck, does it even matter at all?

I may have forgot to put the instructions in your package, is so i apologize, but yes, positive end does go up towards the top cap. Negative goes down towards the switch.

Haha. Sweet. Is it sad I still loved this thing to death with an upside down battery? All smiles and sunshine.

I don't suppose I've damaged my batteries at all doing this for 2 months or so, have I? I mean, I've been meaning to get some IMR 18490s anyway... Either way, thanks David!

I'm curious why it would make any difference. Seems like a simple circuit and there are no diodes involved. Is it a contact shape issue?

We want the positive current to have the shortest, most direct path to the atomzier with the fewest electrical junctions, so putting the positive up is the recommended setup.
