Thinking about adding P3 #2 to my collection, and I'm having trouble deciding between the GMZ and the Stealth Ti, even after making a little pros/cons list for each:

P3 Stealth Ti
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ The caddy of P3s
+ I love my other Ti Provaris, soooo light
+ I have 2 Ti toppers on the way (not black finish though)
- I already have the regular P3 Ti
- $$$ pricey $$$
- issue with the top cap coming loose?

P3 GMZ
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ The GMZ seems to be the lightest non-Ti Provari that I know of
(my GMZ mini is 89g compared to 103g for the satin mini)
+ $120 cheaper
- not a Ti
- already have a 2.5 GMZ mini

I was wondering why there were no GMZ Provari 3s except for blems, so I put in a ticket and got this response:

"The GunMetal Zenkote finish holds up quite well actually. We have simply sold out of the non-blemished devices at this time. Though we've not been advised as of yet, I do believe we will not be offering this finish any longer."

I was also told that if there was to be a sale for New Years, it would be announced tomorrow.

I don't care for the Stealth. There have been more than a few post about the finish coming off or scratching easy...I also don't like the blackout look and no button color. I don't like the P3s in general for the fact the LED isnt in color.

I have a GMZ Mini - along with a few others - coming soon so I can't compare but the GMZ would be my pick if only because so many that have one love the finish.

I saw those and they are nice, but I think I'd rather have the full GMZ finish. I may need to get one of his GMZ drip tips to go with my GMZ Kabuki though :)

I was kind of worried about the finish on the stealth also, it seems to me that it might be just a satin black with an extra coat or two, and I've lost count of the number of satin black provari pics I have seen that were lovingly scratched to pieces :)

The thing I don't like about the P3 is the menu. On the 2.5s the only functions I bother with are Pu, Pd, and A0. I needed to replace the satin black P3 I sold today (decided I wanted a more speshul finish, or another titanium). The $120 price difference and the fact that there will be no more gun metal Provaris made me the decision for the GMZ an easier one. I also have a GMZ 2.5 mini and I really like it, and it weighs 78% of what a satin mini or a glovari mini weighs...89 grams for the GMZ to 102-103 for the satin/glovari. Odd that the GMZ weighs so much less. I should have weighed the satin black before I sold it so I could compare :(

wow - interesting on the weight. I have a black, bronze and GMZ mini on the way - all of which I have none of - so pretty stoked about that! Had my eye on the GMZ and missed getting the black and bronze during the NotV so I feel it was fate someone posted all 3 with SO many goodies that I could not pass the deal up.

What is this NotV that everyone posts about? Some big sale?

Went ahead and ordered spare springs/endcaps/no-ox for the FDA shoebox while I was at it. Barring the appearance of a 2.5 Ti mini for sale or a Ti Radius, I may actually be done buying Provaris!

Now that I will have 2 GMZ devices, I may need another GMZ Kabuki though...

Wow, I'm surprised that Zen Styled P3 sat there for so long. The second I saw it, I ordered it. That was 18Jan and it got here on the 21st. I was going to wait until this summer when the warranty on my Black P3 ran out to purchase a spare but didn't like any of the other colors. I was seriously thinking of the Stealth but also don't like the idea of a tinted window and solid button. I saw that Zen P3 and knew it was the one. I can't put it down.
