How long is a bottle of flavoring good for. I got a bottle of Mountain dew flavoring over a year ago and just found it. Is it still good?

Honestly I have no idea but if it were me, i'd try it.. I figure you know what all is in it anyway, and it probably wont kill you. Or you could try asking the place ya got it from, and if they say it's no good then you might want to toss it.
I don't know how they come up with the expiration dates.
