What do you mean 10 years from long term smoking? And fun? I'm 35 years old by the way.

Yea my goal is to stop everything, but knowing that cigs do not give these bad physical responses, make me want to buy a pack but I know that would just be stupid. I don't get satisfaction from sub ohming, and hitting 6mg straight to the lung like a {moderated} isn't my idea of satisfying my cigarette cravings. Putting 6mg in a nautilus doesn't satisfy either. It's too weak of a hit, absolutely no throat hit and feels like air.

What are you attempting to Accomplish?
You want a Throat hit............Strong from the sound of it, but complain of Sore throat, Muscle use by the way and possible Nicotine or PG irritation.

What exactly are you Vaping?
Cinnamon and Licorice both can cause irritations as can many other Flavorings(Citrus, Strawberry, etc)
Some Brands cause irritations or upset stomach across the whole line, due to Suppliers Base mixture.

Yes, you can blame Vaping.........................Due to user being unaware of needed adjustments.

Details about you?
Your general health?
Any Medications?
Any long term issues? colds/Allergies/etc.
Hydration????????

Your equipment:
Mod and Wattage
Tank/Resistance/air flow/etc.

Flavorings:
Brand(s)
Flavors(s)
Ratios(S)
Nicotine Mg

Your Vaping style:
Draw length
Puffs per hour
Hours of use
Average ml per day consumed

How long since you Switched?
Body purging
Underlying conditions exposed
Improvements and increased issues since quitting Smoking

VAPING is NOT a Magic Bullet

Use a stronger e-juice and lower voltage/wattage. Less cloud, lower temperature. High temperature vaping can indeed burn the juice and make lung irritants.

Some people are sensitive to pure vegetable glycerin. For me, it exacerbated asthma and I got a heavy feeling in my lungs and ended up coughing up a little VG. I prefer less than 30 percent VG. And PG took a while to get used to, at first I had a dry throat and mouth.

And I agree about seeing your doctor. You might have something very serious, and a decision to switch to smoking real cigarettes will just mask the problem.

I've heard people describe similar feelings from a VG sensitivity, and some of them said they'd found a level, for instance 70% VG or less, at which vaping was fine, but above that, they'd have that heavy lung feeling, or difficulty breathing...

Just one of a million possibilities, but you might try different blends to see if it matters.
I know that vaping high VG surely bothers the heck out of me! I get that "heavy" feeling in my lungs and my sinuses go berserk with thick, choking mucus. Therefore I dislike VG and only use a very small percentage (15%) in my DIY liquid to boost the vapor production a bit without causing uncomfortable symptoms. Have you looked at straight VG? It's the consistency of the mucus you get with a bad cold. Ugh. As you can see from my pic...I don't lack for vapor using mostly PG. And I don't buy e-liquid from vendors anymore because most of them overload their juice with VG and for some people (like me, and maybe you!) that is a bad thing. True that PG can bother some people...making their throat hurt and such. Everyone is different, after all.
