For the past few days, I've noticed that my lips are dry and numb, as well as my tongue. My tastedbuds are very sore as well and it's affecting my taste when I eat! I've noticed that when I vape, this gets worse so I am assuming it is from the e-cig. I am using the Joye eGo with Tasty vape Cinnacide. Anybody experience this too? I'm a little worried because i've checked online and some places say it's a sign of oral cancer :( I'm hoping this is just a side effect of perhaps vaping too much and that it will subside or go away soon.:( Any advice is appreciated!!!

The dryness can most certainly be from vaping. Both VG and PG are hygroscopic, meaning that they attract water and have a dehydrating effect. Try drinking more water to stay hydrated.

This article may provide some more answers to the symptoms you're having, too.

I agree with Ralikar in that the cinnamon can cause this sensation. I just received some Atomic Fireball from Honeyville today and have been hitting it pretty heavily. I am definitely noticing a bit of odd semi-numbing/burning sensation in my tongue and throat from it even while drinking plenty of water. It's just so damned delicious I can't put it down! :p

I didn't know that i needed to hydrate more while vaping. Good to know! I've been using cinnacide for over a year now and this is the first time I've noticed this problem...sometimes I have felt my throat burn a little but it was only while vaping, not hours later. I haven't vaped since last night and my tongue hurts like hell!

This is what I have:

Nicotine Liquids - 1 oz. - Atomic Cinnacide
Strength 24mg +
PG/VG mix 30% VG

I agree with the other posts about staying hydrated!! Drink plenty of water (or your beverage of choice!) because just vaping really does dry you out.

Not sure if its related or not, but maybe your tongue/taste bud issue is due to whatever flavoring is in the cinnamon. I've noticed that after chewing big red a few times in a row my tongue gets swollen and taste buds inflamed and such. I've never tried to vape a cinnamon flavor, but I just figured I'd chime in with my big red woes!
