God's Country
John Logie Baird? Alexander Graham Bell?
All in fun, I'm just joking.
:D
Wasn't Lucas automotive wiring basically wrapped in paper?
In a country where it rains constantly.
Excellent idea.
;)

Doesn't Lucas have a nickname?
Oh yeah I remember... He was called
"The prince of darkness".

Eden mods. The Rose is the best rta in existence IMO. Just picked up a Snapdragon today, we'll see how that goes.

This just did it! Thank you, @snork

I've been wanting one after trying one from @Hrathor and it was as you say. I've been looking for any reason to not spend the money, but the more money I waste the more I realize how much further away I get from it.

Sorry, but I had to say this.

And The Celt by vape Tornado. OK, it's made in Bulgaria from recycled material but it's designed in the UK.

Classy, elegant and £70 for the full set.

Ha! I got those mods. Need to let them go because I don't need more mechs, but they are the most beautiful vape gear I own.

Haha Don't think that because I didn't add an emoji that I was taking things too seriously either ;) It's all the fun of the discussion/debate. :thumb:

I'm about to buy the full stainless set for my first anniversary. I can't wait! :hubba:

I can't believe how inexpensive MCR mods are...
I thought the UK taxed and regulated manufacturing out of existence?
I just checked out the MCR site. The mods are very reasonably priced, but the tax is 25%.
With fasttech the Chinese government will even pay for the shipping.
It is not difficult to understand why England's manufacturing is shrinking while China's is growing despite their China's inferior products.

VAT (Value Added Tax) is 20%, not 25% but I thought you didn't have to pay it if you were outside the EU?

U.S.
18500 MCR-101 SS with Brass Accents

Excl. Tax: £47.71
Incl. Tax: £57.25

I never got through checkout, although I was curious to see what the shipping charges were. Maybe next time.
They look awfully good even with the tax.

THe conversion (more or less) from £57.25 to USD is $ 88.71. Shipping is anywhere from 8.00 to aprx 20 depending on what shipping service you choose. The most expensive one is DHL, about 3-5 days depending on what day you order... I think they go by business days. The least expensive does not give you tracking and takes up to 2 weeks and then it might get lost and might not be able to send you another cause they cant prove it did or did not get to you.

The medium price with tracking is about 7 dollars less? and can take up to a week and a half.

PS, maybe the order is not going thru because they are all at the UK Vapefest... I know that some sites dont allow sales when they are on vacation etc. so that people dont freak out when they dont get sale confirmations etc.....

OK, just checked on UK Customs & Excise website and it looks like you would have to pay VAT. Sorry for giving misleading information.

In a word (or two).......... Totally Wicked
Market domination stifles the marketplace.

Oh-and the only reason that Britts drink warm beer is because they have Lucas refrigerators.
Nothing wrong with some Guinness at a balmy 45 degrees... thats 6.5 degrees for you folks in the UK.

Odd. I've never actually purchased a mod or whatnot from across the pond, but I've added items to my cart at Jac Vapour and VAT and associated taxes show up only UNTIL I enter the US as my country. Once I select USA, all taxes disappear... and shipping goes up to 10 pounds... the reason I never completed said orders.
