Does Anyone know of a good paint to safely use to repaint an ecig, or a clear coat to use to protect the original paint job?

I've read here that clear fingernail polish has been used. All my painted PV's have chipped the paint away, especially the atomizers. I've started only ordering "stainless" atomizers that aren't painted at all...
I have ben wondering the same thing. The person who got me into vaping use to drop his 510 all the time, and it looked like... lets just say that it wasnt presentable. I have been treating my egos very carefully, because i saw how his ended up looking. It would be nice to have some sort of protection on the finish.
On a side note, i have been purchasing the stainless atty's also. The cone on the eGo covers it anyway, so noones the wiser, but i dont need to worry about it looking like crap if i drop an atty.

I've used my fingernail to remove the remaining paint from my 510 batteries. You can't tell they didn't come unpainted now. My Ego batteries are holding up ok, it seems like they have some sort of tape on them instead of actually being painted.
I like the way the stainless tarnishes, it makes it look more steam punk to me, but has anyone found anything to brighten them back up?
I have Damascus-ed the stainless on a few and they look cool that way as well.
