hi i want to paint my torpedo mod but is it possible and safe?

I'm no expert on this subject but I have several painted mods so I would think there is nothing wrong with doing so yourself. An alternative to painting and much easier is to skin it.

Tm is right, you might contact J-wraps and see if they can make a skin for the torpedo. They do custom designs and its reversible unlike painting.

If you have the 510-N Torpedo by Bauway, I would recommend not painting it. This was my very first mod, and I purchased it September of 2011. Shortly after, the Chrome plating started to tarnish, and I decided I would take Plasti-Dip to it, since it was a "removable" paint and wouldn't be permanent.

Long story short, the top section with the switch is a single piece that's glued together, and once paint gets into the switch, you need a replacement.

I'd buy just regular vinyl or carbon fiber sheets of eBay and cut it to fit your mod. There's only one switch button, it should be fairly easy and straightforward.
