Modding/customizing mods?

So, I wanna start to customize ecigs that I own. Say I wanted to paint one, what type of paint would I go about using? And how would I make it durable enough to not wear off with use? I'm new to the customization, but it's something I would love to be involved in!

Better to buy a wrap. They are sold on several sites. For a durable pain we would need to know what kind of mod. Some won't take paint.
