After watching a few of RubyRoo's videos, and muddling through the process myself, I'm wondering what kind of food/wine/beer/booze pairings folks have come up with on their own and would like to share! A forum search gave me no obvious results on the first page (yeah, I'm lazy), so I thought I'd make the attempt and kick one off. An example:

juice:
Vapor Chef's Honey Nut tobacco
Pairing:
'Tweason'ale from Dogfish Head Brewery.
Notes:
This gluten-free brew is made with strawberries and buckwheat honey, and sets off the honey note of the juice beautifully. The two subtly different honey flavors meld instead of fighting for 'tongue space,' and the hint of strawberry in the beer sweetens the overall effect even more. The nut/tobacco notes in the vape give that satisfying throat hit a former smoker likes to have with a beer, and in a good PV/tank combo a very satisfying plume even at 50/50 PG/VG. I suspect drippers will find the pairing even more satisfying thanks to increased vapor production and the flavors coming out more assertively (which is what all you drippers claim is the main advantage setting off your 40mL/day juice intake).

Juice:
Slartibartfast from the Vapor Chef
Pairing:
A well made manhattan, preferably with rye instead of bourbon. The sweet vermouth and cherry bitters (you DO use cherry bitters for your manhattans, yes? Good - moving on) mix well with the cherry cavendish notes of the Slartibartfast. Rye substituted for bourbon provides a nice cut through the sweetness of the cavendish, letting the tobacco notes shine through. This pairing should be enjoyed in the evening while contemplating life, love, and the state of your stock portfolio.

excellent thread idea!

juice: fuzion's black cavendish

pairing: north coast's old rasputin russian imperial stout

notes: the sweetness of the black cavendish is well rounded out by the dryness of the rasputin. mine was aged about a year or so which imparted dark fruit notes in the beer, which i feel worked well with the chocolate cocoa i was getting from the ejuice. this pairing is a must for when fall/winter rolls back around.

Juice:
CRFT's Lime Cola

Pairing:
Bloody Mary - Vodka, Mrs. T's BM mix, horseradish, worchestershire, sriracha, salt, pepper, Old Bay around the rim, olive and lime wedge garnish.

Notes:
Because the lime in this liquid is so forward, it cuts through the thicker Bloody Mary beautifully. The cola note doesn't make it too sweet, being mostly overcome by the spice in the drink (you DO like your Bloody Mary spicy, no?). I have always enjoyed a lime wedge squeezed into my Bloody Marys, so this one was a no-brainer. I'm happy the cola note went away to hide in the face of the horseradish and sriracha, allowing the lime to do its thing with this pairing.
