Do you pair your vape to your drink? I'm not talking about what you vape and drink daily but rather the "foodie" practice of pairing drinks with foods because they compliment each other and bring out the best in each other. Except in this case, we're talking about vapes with drinks. My everyday vape is a Red Bull variant but when I enjoy Roar's Amnesia, it calls for a nice Virgil's or Sprechers cream soda. Banana or Orange/Tangerine dripping goes nicely with a Strawberry Crush. Yeah, I'm a soda guy (too many alcoholics in the family for me to venture down that road) but I would imagine some alcohols would pair excellently with some ejuice.

Nah.

One of the first big disconnects for me was:

Coffee : cigarettes :: vaping : coffee...?

I didn't know how that was gonna work when I was switching. It was pretty much a given if you were drinking coffee you had to have a cigarette. That never happened with vaping with any other former "drinking this = must have cigarette" connections. So - no pairings in my book.

No... But then I'm a boring drinker.. I drink Coffee 5+ cups and water up to 1 gallon, daily, and 1-2 glasses of chocolate milk a day. I drink adult beverages 1 or 2 times a month, usually 1 or 2 Long Island Iced Teas when I do drink. Don't like beer or wine and can't drink straight hard alcohol without puking at the odor.

I tend to pair three main flavor categories of eliquids with beverages.
Fruits

  • Potion Vape Yellowberry
  • Potion Vape Greenish Apple
  • The Steam Factory Kizmet
  • Eureka Burst
Fruit eliquids pair well with bright, tart flavored beverages.
Virgin: Teas, Citrus, e.g. 50/50 mix of Poland Spring lime sparkling water and orange juice.
Booze: Caipirinha or Mojito type cocktails.

Creams with Fruit
  • Space Jam Andromeda
  • Sicboy Sicker Than Most
  • Jimmy the Juice Man Shurb
  • Suicide Bunny Sucker Punch
This category pairs well with a wide variety of drinks, but compliments creamy ones with fruit the best.
Virgin: Milkshake or fruit smoothie.
Booze: Anything from a Piña Colada to an Eggnog variation.

Cream/Custard
  • Brothers Reserve Sir Mac
  • Jimmy the Juice Man Crème Brûlée
These fall into the bass range of the flavor spectrum and go well with the like.
Virgin: Coffee.
Booze: Black Russian/Mudslide type cocktails, along with fine spirits like brandies, and to a lesser degree, with single malts.

I haven't listed other flavor categories of eliquids since I don't currenty use them. However, I do remember tobacco flavors pairing exceptionally well with beer and spirits. Ahlusion's Shipwreck, Maple Wild Wood, and Smooth Criminal were really good in that category.

I pair my juices with different temperatures of water from cold to hot with lemon. I stopped drinking EVERYTHING except water and milk in the New Year. I hope my wife doesnt see this cause shes doing it with me but I had a vanilla coke when I was at the vape shop yesterday. Vanilla Coke goes sooooo well with a vanilla vape of some sorts that used to be my favorite. Bobas with black coffe, Nana Cream with Monkey Milk and some others used to be good.
