Correct, The short section was removed while using the extension for the 18650/kicked. Love not removing the Kick to replace the battery.
Extension and the long section are 1 5/8" light. Short 1 3/16". Contact is recessed 1/8" appr. within the control head.

It will rattle being thumbed or in shaking the mod.

ha, tx for checking! looks pretty easy to re-solder if need be.. rly want a pure mech mod but that doesn't seem to bad to fix if it fails...hmmm, off to contemplate this for awhile

so am i right in assuming the short piece is what you'd use w/ an 18350 and the longer one for the others?
