Panasonic NCR battery

Hey everyone, been reading a lot of good info on ECF but haven't actually posted yet. Quit smoking in October 2014 and vaping ever since.

I just ordered a IPV mini 2 and an Atlantis tank that should be waiting in the mailbox today. My question is will the Panasonic NCR18650B batteries power this thing OK? They are 3.7v 3400mah. Thanks!

I use those in my itaste 134 but be aware they only have a 6 amp continuous rating so they are fine for a low watt tank like a nautilus but not safe for say a sub ohm dripper

No, your battery is not a good battery for vaping (ICR chemistry). Save them for your flashlights.

A good 20A IMR battery would be a good choice. Here are two.

1. HG HE2 2500mah 20A
2. Samsung 25R 2500mah 20A

Thanks! I have been using them on a vv/vw setup and they work great but only use around 10w.
Looks like I have some battery shopping to do.

At 6w you can only get away with a 1 ohm atty on a full charge.

Your amp draw need is calculated by your input power and the resistance of your attomizer. Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators has a really good calculator.

So got a Samsung 25r as advised, waiting for it to change before firing it up with the Atlantis. The Panasonic ncr handles the nautilus nicely in the ipv mini2. Have only used it for a bit but this mini seems like a winner. Thanks for the help!

The The Panasonic ncr is a Lithium Cobalt battery, and it can explode if made to vent.
Are you sure you really want to continue using it?

Also Panasonic only rates it as a 2c battery, so it's the lowest amp rated 18650 that there is.

Went I certainly don't want my face to explode so I'll save those for my flashlight as advised. The Samsung's are only $10 so no big deal.

Just don't put them in a mechanical or higher power mod. I wouldn't buy one now. NO.

There were many of them sold in the UK for mods like EVIC, SID, VAMO. Thousands, upon thousands. Not one single problem.

Would I buy one now. NO.

I would point out that in 2010-11 TRUSTFIRES were considered a good choice ......... just sayin'
