It looks nice, good choice on the switch.
If you look around the adjustable version of that chip can be found quite cheaply.

Awesome! I used the same box as my first OKR mod, it will indeed fit a bottle+14500/14650 batts. How did you polish the aluminum so well?
OMG! Very VERY cool. I envy you guys so much, I'm about as handy as a box of rocks. If I could build somthing that cool I'd never buy a mod again!

You said those didn't polish well. They have one that size but I wonder if the sides are square (???).

Looks like the same box as the dual 18650 box I made. THe shine might not hold up, but is sure looks nice. I might have to do a little more work with mine.

JJ, the box you asked about has dimensions for the outside and inside clearance including the corner bosses and card ribs.
The clear inside length between the corner bosses (for the screws) is L1, 64mm.
The clear inside width is is W1, 38.7mm.
and the inside height is 19.7mm.
You can gain length OR width by staying between the corner bosses.
and even more by removing the card ribs.
I guess you were really asking about the taper.
The drawing doesn't show it but that box also has about 0.020" taper in the width and length from the cover to the bottom. Not really visually noticeable.
The one I used for the single 18650 mod has about 0.025" taper and is noticeable.

Here's 2 without the extra labor you put into yours to show the taper. I guess a little work could remove most of it.
(I put some vent holes in the bottom of mine. You know, for just in case, and there is a 510 charge connector in the bottom, but I'm only doing 3.7 volts, not 5v)
