hi , im literaly new to vaping and thing around it so i would ask same basic questions about a mechanical mod.I watched several videos over this week and i liked those guys who had such a masive vapor production so i was asking why , i watch more videos and saw tutorials and how to build sub-ohm colis and things around it.I would like to build a mechanical mod like this guy on youtube , i cant post links so just put this in youtube "0.09 Ohm | 20 Gauge Dual Coil Tutorial | Cotton Wick"
, but there is a problem than i dont know several thing and nobody around my is vaping ++ in Slovak Republic i didnt even saw a shop or something like that , that is about vaping etc.The first thing i would like to now is that im going to buy Panzer Black Hawk mod but i dont know how many batteries can fit in it , there is a second problem that the guy on the video said that i need a 30amp stable battery that can pulse up to 60 amp but he didnt said the name of the battery and i cant find something powerful like that.So this is it , i would be gratefull if somebody can help me with this :)

Woah woah slow down.
If you're new to vaping, sub-ohm may not be a good idea. In fact, it is not recommended.
I've seen this video. 0.09 ohms is not safe, regardless of battery. There is only one battery in existence that lives up to that specification, and it is the Sony VTC series (VTC3, 4, and 5). This battery can take 0.14 ohms maximum.

Please do read Baditude's threads on battery safety before you try this. In fact, just google sub-ohm battery safety, and you'll get a lot of results. Just read them, and soak in the information. Learn the basics about Ohm's Law and why V=IR is so crucial to not hurting yourself.

I would also not recommend being hasty and buying a panzer mod. They are not known for quality. I suggest you do some further research before diving in.

A lot more research in fact.

Please let us know if you have more questions. The more you ask, the more we can help you.

And by the way, welcome to the ECF! Glad to have you here.

If your a new vaper look into regulated mods to start with they are way safer to learn how to build coils on and you can get the same vapor production from them with a higher ohm coil check out an mvp it's very user friendly out if you want something better so you won't wanna upgrade when you get it down check it a 30 watt mod.

:) thanks for fast reply guys :) ye , i was reading much about sub-ohm and that is not too safe but i want at least to try it.I was watching some videos about the coils too so that is not the problem , the real strugle for me is that i cant even find any of these 18650 30A batteries that are not sold out , everywhere i look they are sold out...what mod would you recommend? btw. how did i even get there , so a few day ago i ordered just for fun a starter kit eGo-T + CE5 , i was watching videos on youtube how it will be , but then i saw a guy with something strange in the hant and he get clouds of vapor from it so i was really amazed of it , i started watching more and more videos about it and the idea of making my own vaporizer was just quite briliant so i jump on it and now i wanna build it with a little bit of your help to pick parts :) i know that it is dangerous but i dont think about anythig other then just build my own vape :)

These batteries are very hard to find, as Sony doesn't make them anymore.
If you want to delve into the world of rebuildables, first, read the posts on battery safety.
Equipment-wise, you'll need a batteries, an atomizer, and a mod.
Mods will generally only fit 1 battery each, unless you have a box mod that takes 2 or 3, or a congestus, which is just a really, really, REALLY, bad idea. I would recommend looking into the 4nine or Vanilla mod. Unlike most people on this forum, I do not recommend the Nemesis as a beginner's mod, because its switch is very finicky and is a bit of a pain in the rear to take a part and reassemble.
For atomizers, there are lots and lots of good ones on the market, and they're almost all equally good to start with. For example, the Igo W, Tobh Atty, Patriot, Zenith, or Mephisto are all easy to build on.
Next you'll need wire and some wicking material. My personal suggestions would be 28 gauge A-1 kanthal and some organic (or maybe sterilised) cotton balls. There are many tutorials on youtube to help you with this.
This kind of gear can get expensive very quickly. However, I still recommend you spend some time on that ego starter kit before you start doing rebuildables.

Please don't get hasty. I've wasted some of my own hard-earned money that way. If you find something you like, put it aside for a day or two, and sleep on it, and come back to it and do more research.

Good luck and happy vaping! CE5's are pretty solid for anything. Even lighting campfires. :D

Vent holes are a necessity for some mods. Other mods aren't airtight to begin with, meaning that if a battery does vent and spill its guts, it will naturally come out of every crack in the device anyway. The 4nine works this way. A mod like the Vanilla, Penny, or Magneto will need good holes. If you ever feel uncomfortable, you're free to drill your own holes. Just remember that as a battery vents, the gases come out the top and bottom. The closer the holes are to the top and bottom of a battery, the more effectively it will vent.
If your battery vents, you're clearly doing something wrong. It should never happen. I've been building extreme builds for a half a year, and I've never vented a battery, except once on purpose, to see what it looked like.
Some things you just really have to learn by first hand experience. Once you've experienced it, you'll swear to yourself never to do it again.

Blowing clouds is a lot more complicated than just wrapping some wire and stuffing some cotton. You'll have to be prepared to take your shiny atomizer and drill it, dremel it, grind it out, do some irreversible modifications, test it out, and repeat. There are so many variables, it just takes time to perfect. I can easily toss out enough clouds to cover a parking lot, but there's a lot more I can do to make bigger clouds. There is no easy way.
