Paps v4 cleaning

i absolutely love this mod but I've been using it for over a month and only clean the top cap, 510 and I just leave the switch because I don't wanna mess with that little pin because my first one broke and Perseas sent me a new switch free of charge!

do the other v4 owners on here take theirs fully apart for a clean?

I take my V4 switches apart all the time, at least once a week, ( not necessary, but Im OCD )

Its very easy and never have had a problem except like most GP mods, its counter clockwise.

What I do is take a long flat head and insert it down the tube and give it a little twist and it loosens up and take it apart .

Here is a step by step on how to take it apart, a bit past halfway down the page is where he gets to the switch.

Should we call you "Arnold?" The GP devices dont need to be dealt with such strength. I can see it breaking if one does not know about the reverse threading. Used to happen to me with their atties.

With my bad hands Id be struggling , then the memory would turn on like a light bulb and Id remember.

I have the 18500 V3. Ya'd think with a simple electro-mechanical device that a simple clean and lube would keep for several mths or longer.?.

Quite a well made device!
