paralell series swich

Hey guys
so I've been trying to make a box that will switch between series and parallel configurations. Everytime I think I've got it figured out on a breadboard and try to Build it it fails to work. I'm using a DPDT slide switch. Has anyone done this? Any ideas on how to wire the switch? I thought I might need a higher rated switch. I have no idea what the switch I've been testing with is rated for. If someone has a wiring diagram that be great!

its possible but you will need about 30A capacity on the on/off switch and DPDT slide switch

gonna be several wires involved too

Use three rocker switches when in parallel turn on top and bottom when in series turn on middle only issue would but if u ever had all three on ur holding a bomb
