I've been reading too much, and I'm getting paranoid I'm going to blow my face off!

So far I've stuck with ego-c twists and iTaste VVs. I am about to get a SID (yay, Classies!) and got this battery to go in it

As far as rebuilding goes, the most I've done (and all I'm interested in doing at this time) is simple coil rebuilds for PT2, Evod, etc.

I use 2mm silica wick with 32ga wire. I have a multimeter as well as the resistance reader on my iTastes. I stay between 1.8-2.5 ohms.

Most of what I've read, the danger comes from building sub-ohm coils. But I wanted to reach out for some advice from you guys to make sure that I'm doing everything safely. Any tips would be appreciated!

Those batteries will be fine, the SID limits the output to 3 amps and is regulated so you wont get anywhere close to the 10 amp max.

All the battery devices you mentioned have safety built into the circuit. They just won't output voltage if the resistance is too low.

The biggest concern for battery safety comes with mechanicals that have no safety circuit in place.
