Damn and i was hoping you had a solution to how it fixed itself! Glad its working for you, maybe i'll have the same luck with mine. Question I have for the battery issue, did you tinfoil both positive ends or just 1?

I also noticed this on one of the battery ends. A metal wire running in front of the contact and then back into the mod. not sure why its there

One side. The pos connector across from the atty connector. So basically not the battery underneath the atomizer connection

What I'm also goin to try is shaving down the pieces of plastic on either side of the positive nub on the mod. If you can shave it down lower then the Pos nub then the battery will touch it

MAYBE it has to do with battery power. Have you tried using an LR carto after the devicee has been run down a little and not on a full charge? I'm gonna test that theory when I charge them tonight. When I was vaping it yesterday they were fully charged batteries

I was actually gonna ask you that myself, My batts are pretty low ATM will try a DCT when i go for a refill

The DC might not work anyway....see if you have any single coil 2-2.2 ohm cartos

Also....just found out this works GREAT with DC carto's and tanks at any setting. Definitely rocks at the 5V setting on a 1.5ohm DC tank!!!!

2.0 ct working fine and 3.7 and 5v has to be the batteries not being fully charged...only thing that makes sense

Basically he's saying that he got the gripper to work with LR carto's but he doesn't know how it happened. We seem to think that a fully charged set of batteries causes the issue but when they're drained a little you can use LR stuff. When it works with the DCT's and stuff he said it vapes like a BEAST!!! I agree im using a DCT now and its working amazing
