ok after showing lord and then talking with the factory, they will be sleling both, the old version and the new one, so people will be getting a 50/50 chance

the old version splits open in 2, the shell isnt sealed and can pop open easily and to easily over time.

the new updated version is sealed shut like ours has been.

Do you mean that people not buying from GV get a 50/50 chance, and yours are all sealed properly?

our are all sealed, they just started selling the selaed version, we where the ones to inform the factory of the issue i showed you.

so some will get the old version and some will get the new version buying elswhere.

not a big deal either way, you can fix it yourself if you bought one elsewhere. we love the gripper.

is it both batteries used at once or is it one at a time? and does it hold true 3.7,5,6 volts throughout the charge?

It uses both batteries at once and the voltage does seem to stay even (though i haven't measured it). Run time/battery life is INCREDIBLE! I never let my batteries run down but reports are that people are getting 18-24 hours of vape time (that's "vape time" and doesn't include the hours you might be sleeping! So figure you could go a day and a half, maybe even 2 days, between battery charges!)

is that at 5 volts? so I could get 3+ hours out of 5volts? I of course could charge at night, but i'm assuming 5 volts or 6 volts would drain the batteries much quicker?

since it uses 2 batteries, i'm assuming they are in series and regulated down and not in parralell and upconverted?

a reviewer on youtube reviewed these, showed the graph on the power and while he wishes it was heavier and had a flat bottom and was made out of metal, he said that it gives true power in each voltage unlike the lavatube and it lasted him with heavy use on heavy vaping for 20 hours. he usually uses 5v form what i remember

definately seems nice although a bit big, but I guess it should fit in my pocket. no on off switch is a pain though, thats like 10 presses to get it to turn off if you vaping 3.7. I also wish it had some voltages in between like 4 volts, but if it maintains 3.7 throughout, that would be fine.

still thinking about this one.

This thing is tiny and will fit perfectly in your pocket. I agree with the on off switch. Its very light weight and comfortable to use.

At 5v, I just switch the batteries each morning and they last all day (maybe longer but I've never run them past a day). Keep in mind though, they use 2 batteries and it comes with 2, so if you want to do like I do, you'll need an extra set of batteries.

The pictures I've seen are surprisingly deceiving as to the units size. It's really quite small and "feels" even smaller. It's not much larger than a 2AA box mod (same height, and just slightly wider and thicker). The oval shape (i.e. looking down at it from the top) further "hides" it's size since it fits so nicely in your hand. Here's a good way to get a feel for it's in-hand size: Take 2 18650 batteries and hold them. The Gripper is about the same height as an 18650, and the weight it about the same as ONE 18650!

I'll do a full review on it tomorrow and hopefully that'll help.
