Partial shipping delay via China Airmail

we are deeply sorry to announce you that some orders via china airmail have been delayed because of huge backlog and slow processing caused by strengthened security check at customs and airport due to the coming Universiade Shenzhen 2011 (From Aug, 12th 2011, to Aug 23rd 2011) .

Only orders to some countries dispatched from Guangzhou are influenced (Please check countries list below).

Orders to other countries via china airmail and all orders via DHL or EMS remain normal.

We will keep an eye on the issue and inform you of any updates timely here or on our forum.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Country list: UK, Brazil, Poland, Germany, Russia, France, Netherlands, Malaysia, Mexico, South Africa, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore, and Indonesia

Thanks for the update Sunny! Lucky to not be on the list, but I now have a question. You guys ship DHL? I didn't see that as an option in checkout. Any idea how much DHL would cost to ship to me?

Edit: I'm hoping I can pull some time and stop by for a couple of days and see some of the events. Spent 2 semesters at 复旦大学 and I understand we have a few good contenders.

My shipment to USA via China Registered Airmail was processed through Shanghai a week ago (7/15) with no further info available. Could this somehow be due to the Universiade Shenzhen 2011?

No. I do not think that airmail to USA through Shanghai is affected. normally it takes 10-20 days to reach USA via china airmail.

The funny is, that some other kind of shop ships through Beijing to us. Strange.
