Pass Through questions

Good evening, All!

I was just reading about several people using a "pass through" while sitting in front of the computer and vaping.

I was wondering what are the pros and cons of this product and if anybody has any suggestions as to what type I would need and where to get one. (I spend a lot of time in front of my own pc) Also, is there a pass through for the car?

Hi Tara,
I spend all day in front of a computer and my PT is my best friend. This will be the best investment you will make. Get one that uses the same atty you are using now. This way parts are interchangable.
Pros: No batt worries, consistient vaping all day. My PT plugs into my USB port in my truck and works great.
Cons: Nicotine OD. Be carefull of your nicotine intake. It took me a few days to realise why I was feeling ill. But I cut the nic level and now all is well.

Love my passthus. Mine are KR808D-1 manuals. I have one for the car and one for the computer that I also use in the living room watching TV>

It's best not to actually use the USB port in your computer though if you can help it. People have had problems if they have other devices connected. Look for wall/USB adapters that are 5V/2 amps and car/USB adapters that are 5V/1.2 amps or greater. Any regular generic ones work as long as you get enough amps. I have one 1 amp car adapter that works and haven't tried < 2 amps in the wall ones, so you may get away with less. Plug in USB hubs not connected to a computer are also another option.

Vapor4Life sells the car adapters at 2 amps, but no wall adapters.

Your juice consumption increases since they burn hotter and you have to refill more often. The upside is increased and more consistent vapor.

If you are KR-808D1 try the Boge 3.0 or V4L CoolCarts to avoid burning.

Hi Calypso!

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely have to look for a PT. I like to visit my family out of state and I always smoked heavily while on the road (3 hrs one way). I don't have a USB port in my car, though...is there an adapter for the cigarette lighter, maybe?

Yes. There is a USB-to-lighter adapter. I'm sure some vendors sell them, but you can also get them places that sell electronics and cell phones.... pretty much anywhere that sells USB items.

The reason you get that nicotime OD on the passthrough is cause the passthrough powers at 5 or either 6 volts, and ur battery powers at 3.7 volts on the KR808 models. I love my PT .. V4L has a beefy PT that you darn near cant break if you tried to. LOL, the cord is like a drope cord. Love it!!

Im using a KR808 from V4L and a 902 from CigEasy. Its fast, cheap, refillable carts, and reliable. Most of ur standard 808's are 3.7 volts power supply that are 280 Mah to 380 Mah. depending on length. 180Mah for the shorty models. The Mah(milliAmps per hour) is just the amount of charge that your battery can hold..Therefore the more charge it can hold the longer it will last. Cell phone batteries are also 3.7 volts, BUT they are 1500 to 2000 Mah. Thats why they last so long cause they can hold outrageous amounts of power, but output the same amount of voltage.
