Just use it with the computer until you get the AC adapter that WOH recommended above, or some other. It's OK since that's a 3.7 volt PT with a battery. It only trickle charges the battery from the USB port and shouldn't be an issue. The AC Adapter is a good precaution in case something shorts out tho.

It's the 5 volt, high-amp PTs that people worry about, not these.

True a PT that has a REAL battery as part of it should be able to run off a PC's USB.

I have the other kind of PT and I use these.
4 port USB to AC 2 amp - you can either charge up with to 4 battery cables on it or use a PT on it. Don't do both since the ports share one pool of power.
