Hi, been vaping a few weeks now, after climbing the learning curve with an ego c I am very happy with it and wont be going back. I had a play with some different nicotene concentrations, going as high as 36mg, 18mg seems to be my sweet spot. My girlfriend smoked aswell, we live in a studio flat, she still smokes but is one of those smokers who can just not smoke for a day, then chain smoke 20 when she drinks. She is 24 and never coughs. With me. My health has really changed. I feel much better. Smoking a variety of juices, slight bad throat one day but water sorted it.

Last night I was vaping patriot strawberry and kiwi, 18mg. Mrs has been trying it every so often, she gets headaches easily and said the odd puff was giving her a headache, which can be put down to the nicotene. However she also wears contacts, and she has said her contacts have been going very dry and uncomfortable. I can testify to this as she has been getting quite red eyes, she has also woken up this morning with a sore throat right at the back where the throat hit usually happens. She drinks diet coke like water so I am wondering if its dehydration, its defo not overvaping as last night she had about 10 inhales of 18mg total spread over a good few hours.

This isn't a 'oh my god we're gonna die' I can solve by vaping out a window, was just wondering what peoples thoughts were?

Thanks all.

you are describing the "perfect" symptoms of allergy.
seems like your girl friend is allergic to one of the components in your e-cig, most likely to be PG (are you vaping PG?).
I'm sure she isn't allergic to the nicotine, since she is having analogs with no issues.

the symptoms of allergic reaction include head aches and reddish dry eyes, that will cause a discomfort to contact lenses users.
thus I would recommend that you try vaping something else, and see here response to it.

Id appreciate if you will let us know how this work for you :)
