So I was just wondering if the nicotine in the vape affect other people or animals in the same room you are vaping in.

In my case I got a big vivarium with two ball pythons less than a metre from my computer where I would like to vape and I'm wondering if the nicotine in the vape could harm them. I've done som quick searches on the internet about this and so far it seems alright, they didn't mention if there were any nicotine in their liquid though.

Thanks!

V2 Electronic Cigarettes Blog » Study: Second Hand Vapor from E-Cigs Has Fewer Risks than Second Hand Smoke

"This chamber then measured the amounts of different chemicals which would be inhaled by anyone who consumed these substances, second-hand.

As expected, the toxic substances found in the cigarette smoke far outweighed the traces found in e-cig vapor. More than 20 volatile organic compounds were detected in cigarette smoke; trace amounts of six of these elements were found in the electronic cigarette vapor. Once exhaled, the e-cig vapor was found to contain miniscule amount of nicotine and flavoring."

I'm assuming you'll be vaping an eliquid with nicotine? Or no? The reason most don't mention if there is nicotine in the liquid is because you generally choose the nicotine amount.

So obviously a 0mg liquid would not have any nicotine and therefore it would hold zero risk of second-hand nicotine issues.

If you go with a liquid with nicotine I would say you still don't really need to worry too much... I can't imagine that much of the nicotine would stay in the exhaled vapor... And you could always exhale away from the ball pythons. It's water vapor, so it's not like it will seek out the ball pythons...

Just my opinion and whatnot though... Should probably wait to get opinions from people more experienced than I. Best of luck!
