i have a 901 passthrough and its been working great until today - it doesnt seem to activate right - no led

if i remove the atty and suck on the pt itself after some hard pulling i can get the led to come on

if i have the atty and tip on and use it - i have to plug the hole in the atty to get enough suction to activate the led, then it works good until i stop the draw - and have to repeat the process -- ive let the atty drain etc, but i think the problem is in the pt itself

anyone have this issue? suggestions?

its only 2 weeks old, not even.

If you stick that atty on a battery, does it work fine? If so, then yeah, I guess you've got a problem with the passthrough. It could be that a little juice got down into the PT through the whole where it connects to the atty. If it did, then just setting it aside for a few hours to a day might have it working fine again.

If the atomizer doesn't work any better when connected to a battery, then it's the atomizer that's the problem. Could need cleaning (you can rinse it well with hot water and let it sit for a day) or it could just be dying.

kno,
I don't know anything about cleaning out the PT's, but I wonder if standing it with the hole side down would drain it (if it really does have juice in it)... might be worth a try.

I'm always afraid to direct drip with my PT. I don't want it to quit working! I love it soooo much. LOL
I wonder if the whole in the PT is really needed? Would love to just plug it up somehow.

the hole is needed in automatic batteries because there is a pressure switch inside that activates the batter to heat the atty. if there is dried juice inside of the hole, thats likely whats causing my PT to not respond to pressure, that or the switch is a bit stuck (also a possible juice situation)

i drip nonstop - never had an issue with it - although i may be experienceing my first - i let it drain for about 5 hours today, it works a bit better for about 4 puffs till i blew into the damn thing and it stopped again

im pretty sure this is a juice inside of the autoswitch deal... we'll get it figuered out tho

the pt is completely dead...

dead!

the light on the tip comes on when i plug it in, but not ever after... i stuck a toothpick into it to see if it was gunked up, hasnt responded to anything since, i think i messed it up bad

it seems to have been cheaply made anyways

but ima miss the hell out of this thing

probably gonna get a 901 kit now just because i have the atty and i liked the vapor production

although im not sure if that was due to the 901 or the pt being straight usb and possible 5v??

im really upset about this tho

it didnt even last me 2 weeks!

ACK...mine just crapped out on me too! Lasted all of about 3 1/2 weeks. :/
Bummer.
Luckily, I have another one. Wonder if it will bonk out in 2 weeks also. *sigh*
I never dripped with mine, but it has been dropped a time or two. LOL

Mine last about the same, if its not the cord its the switch or something is just plain broken! At the price they are at my supplier they are a complete waste of money :(

I think mine is going .... up too. At first I was getting an 'every other hit' thing going. I would hit it, and get nothing, hit it again and get a good vape. Then I noticed that it was getting weak, cool vapor with no throat hit. Screwed in a regular battery and the atomizer was fine. That sucks, I loved that thing for the 2 or 3 weeks I had it. I'm not gonna get another cheap china one. Going with that beefy model for 510 atty's who's name escapes me at the moment.

Well you guys did answer a question I had about PT seems they don't last long at all. If you buy the cheap chineese make sure you dont get the one that charges a 3.7 battery. A guy on here says the batt exploded and killed his cpu they also dont give a 5v hit.

My 901 PT is extremely cheap looking & feeling... It also activates when sucking or blowing ... However its been working for about 3 weeks w/ NO problem at all.... But I anticipate problems ....

"Kno" Try pulling / pushing / wiggling the wire that goes into battery compartment --- It would take a SUBSTANTIAL amount of leaked liquid to actually short the PT out, wich makes me think that wire has disconnected ...
