Hello all, another newbie question! I recently got a dovpo E-LVT 2.0 and have a few questions regarding charging. It has the option of using a provided usb cable to use passthrough charging or removing the battery and using a charger (which I have.) I've noticed however that using the usb charger it won't charge my battery (efest 3100 mAh 18650) quite as fully as my charger will.I've read that it has built-in protection in the device itself to only charge to 4.2 V, the battery itself is rated for 3.7 V so I'm not sure if that's a problem or not. In any case I love using the passthrough capabilities as I only have one 18650 as of now but need to know if I'm hurting or helping myself at all or if they are both equal and one is just much more convenient. Also, I'm not sure how often I should charge, whenever I can? Whenever it drops below 3.5? Or whenever I notice vapor reduction? I think I might be nit-picking but I really just want to have everything working optimally (plan on getting some AW's or Sony's in the near future.) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Passthrough will slightly harm your battery, but not a lot and it's not dangerous.
You should charge whenever you can as batteries don't like being charged from low voltages and will last longer the more you avoid this.
If it is a good battery charger it will charge the battery in a better way which will make it last longer.
Batteries are fairly cheap so you don't really need to worry too much about doing most of these things, though charging before they get low will make the biggest difference so charge when possible.

And you should NEVER leave a battery on charge when your not around, the chances of something happening aren't high but they do exist.

Awesome, thanks guys puts my mind at ease for sure. I'm definitely going to get some extra batteries once I get a little more cash. Side note, has anyone seen the new aspire atlantis? I just saw it today and it looks like a beast, definitely on my wish list. Thanks again.

I know I am a little late to this thread, but I have the Atlantis, and have just ordered the LVT 2.0. Should have it by Friday. I like the Atlantis a lot, and it's a lot better out and about than using a dripper. I run it about 18.5 watts, with a smaller drip tip, on my Vox 50. But, the LVT ( sometimes called the Firestone? ) is better suited for me, since I work outdoors.

I like rebuildables, but sometimes chucking clouds isn't as good as taking smaller sips from the tank, at least, for Nic delivery. Seems the longer I let the vape linger in my mouth and nose, the less I have to vape. The airflow on the Atlantis works in my favor for that, since it doesn't require a hard pull. Don't get me wrong, it does some really nice lung hits too, and will chuck the clouds, but for purposes of Nic, it works just as good using less fluid, and less battery.

It's a great all around tank. Hoping the LVT 2 turns out to be a good fit with it.
