Chargers for ego t passthrough

Can you use any mini usb charger to charge an ego passthrough? I'm hesitant to use my old cell phone car charger on my ego battery. Thanks

I have done this with an old blackberry charger that I had laying around. Im not a battery expert, but it works fine for me.

If it's the kind with an inline battery, you can use any USB to AC that outputs 5v and 500mA

If it's the kind of PT that has no inline battery then no - you need to buy a 2amp USB to AC adapter and I doubt you have one

I got a car charger at Walmart that was pretty cheap. Input 12 VDC, Output 5V up to 1000 mah.

Is it the kind of pass-through that you can use as a regular battery but you can unscrew the silver cap at the bottom for the usb charger?

Yes it is a 1000 mah that has the cap
