Passthru Query

Hey, can I use my USB passthru (which is on the way here, presently) with the wall charger unit that came with my KR808d-1 starter kit? And if so, will it still be operating at 5 volts?

I actually posted this to the wrong forum earlier today... I'm reposting because the aforementioned equipment is all VaporKings stuff... and, most importantly, they always give concise, easy to comprehend answers...

mine works fine that way... if you look on the bottom of the charger it should have a sticker that says 'output 5.0v' on it somewhere. Just don't leave it plugged in when you're not using it because i've heard horror stories of passthru's burning up.

The wall adapter will power the passes most of the time but they don't provide the optimum current output. An iPhone charger cube works very well.

And as Nightwalker said, don't leave it plugged in when not in use...

Thanks! I'm going to try it out on my hobby lamp in my diningroom... it's a desk lamp with 2 outlets built into to base, and it'd be real convenient for me to watch tv and vape.

I'm not sure what an iPhone charger is, but if they're relatively inexpensive, then I get one of those instead... after all, when at home, you're always around a power source... so why waste good bats? I think a passthru upstairs... and one downstairs would suffice for all my home vaping needs...

my passthru will not work plugged into the charger (that comes with the starter kit)-i don't know why. hope u ordered the black passthru, cause i think the white ones don't work as good, i got one i couldn't get to work at all, and the replacement one doesn't work as good as the black one either.

Wow! Nice! I just received my passthru and WOOHOO! Once again, another fine order from Vapor Kings! I will make sure those business cards get into the proper hands at work next week!

BTW, I just tried the R4Y flavor and it's very yumz...
