What rebuildable atomizers out there are copper and will they be able to patina? For example, I'm aware of the tobh atty clone that is copper but am unsure if there is a "finish" that will prevent a patina. What are my options?

On a mod you could clear coat it with a clear coat spray, Rustoleum makes a good one, but on an atty the constant heating/cooling would probably cause it to peel. About the only thing I can recommend is be ready to polish it almost constantly or learn to love the patina :)

EDIT: Just re-read your post and I see you want the patina, I need more coffee:facepalm: To my knowledge there is no finish on the copper and it will patina naturally.

Thanks, I'm looking in the near future to force patina a mod and have a copper atomizer to force patina with it.

Handle it a lot, in my experience the oils from your hands speed up the process and it gives it a nice even patina. While your watching TV or anything else just roll it around in your hand.

IMG_0011.jpgGo to Google and find a bunch of stuff on patina. Wet the mod/atty in ammonia, roll it in coarse salt, I used kowher, suspend it in a closed container with some ammonia for a couple of hours. I did this to the mod/atty attached. Also liver of sulfur will almost immediately turn copper black then rub some off on the high points.

Also look in the modding forum for more stuff, but the best place is Google cause the crafters patina a lot of stuff and there are videos.
